Permissions

Permissions define how your team will interact with Daysheets on the Mac or Mobile apps. There are three permissions settings you can just from to adjust the experience for your team members: Read Only Read Only permissions will allows users to see the details that you add to their tour, but not be able to edit anything. Edit Access Edit permissions allow the person to edit everything. An editor can also see every event and reservation across all groups. Custom Permissions Custom permissions allow you to modify what details a user can edit. For example if you want soemone to be able to add hotels, but not adjust the schedule, you can create a custom permission by selecting this option.
Please note that if your team member needs to be able to add additional members to your tour, they will need Edit permissions, and then you will want to look for a toggle switch that allows them to add additional members to the tour. This toggle lives directly under the permissions drodown. If this additional permission is not toggled on, the user will be able to add, modify and remove events and reservations, but they will not be able to add additional team members to the tour!

Visbility

Visibility let you determine what this person is going to see on your tour, specifically if you are using groups and group tags. The default visibility options are: All Events and Reservations This allows the team member to see everything that is being added to Daysheets. This is reccomended setting for smaller operations where there aren’t multiple hotels on the same day, and the schedule is relevant to everyone. Events & Travel That Pertain to Their Group If you are using Groups, this visibility setting restricts this person to only see events and reservations that are associated with this group. This is helpful when you have one hotel for the band party, and one for the crew, and you don’t want the band to see the crew hotel. This also restricts events like “Load In” that may be tagged with the crew party group, from showing up for band members on their mobile device. Custom Visibility Custom Visiblity allows you to give specific individuals additional visibility permissions. A great example of when to use custom visiblity is when you have A,B & C Parties on your tour. For example, you may want your road manager who travels in the B Party, to be able to view all events and reservations for both the B Party and C Party, but not the A Party. With custom visibility, you can give precise insight into events and reservations as needed.
